The Johnson County School’s notification system has been experiencing some issues recently with certain cell providers, and it has resulted in a situation where messages are not being properly received when going to voice mail, instead resulting in several seconds of silence before being disconnected. We have noticed this issue primarily with parents and guardians who use the Sprint Cell Network. We are currently working with our service provider in an attempt to isolate and resolve this issue, but we need your help.
If you are not properly receiving our call out notifications when sent to your voicemail, please send us an e-mail at email@example.com and let us know. We will need to know your cell phone number, your cell phone provider (i.e. Sprint, Verizon, Carolina West, etc.), your student’s name and what school they attend.
We will compile this data and forward it on to our School Messenger provider, where they will have their engineering team look for possible causes to the situation. If a problem is detected within their software then a solution will be put in place, or they will work together with the Cell providers to attempt to reach a solution.
